Over the past fifteen years many large and small-to-medium organizations have adopted Enterprise Systems expecting positive outcomes. Many of organizations are now upgrading, replacing, or extending their original Enterprise Systems. Early versions of Enterprise Systems, known as ERP systems, provided back office functionality. Enterprise Systems are including support for a variety of front office activities such as CRM, SCM and eProcurement. The design, implementation and maintenance of these large integrated systems represent major technical and organizational challenges, requiring global ways of thinking about business processes, system development, and enterprise architecture (EA-Urba) /
